Do you have a dream?
I have a dream, a dream that began with a little girl who was being sexually abused and struggled to survive for many years. That little girl was ME. Whenever my heart would start to fade and yes, I saw my life fade away many times yet that dream kept me alive and helped me get through another day.
For abused children staying strong and persevering through adversity they must hold on to something in order to survive the abuse.
I held onto my dream… I still believe in that dream.
That dream still lives strong inside my heart. And I would never give up fighting for children and the dream of seeing all children free from abuse.
I had a dream as a child and I will continue to work hard for that important dream. Never give up on your dreams, even when nobody else thinks they can come true but you. I believe in progress and that with our collective voices we can create a better world for our children.
