Martin Luther King is well known civil rights leader who was assassinated at the age of 39 on 4^th of April 1968. Even after five years of his death, the values he stood for was equality, acceptance, and non-violence.

The main reason for his advocacy for African American was racism which he experienced at an early age. Some of the related events in his life made him activist and he started to participate in many peaceful protests.

His hundreds of peaceful speeches awarded him Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
