This weekend I had the privilege of seeing “A Rape on Race” by the @spectrum_dance_theater It was an incredible performance based off the famous conversation between James Baldwin and Margaret Mead in 1970.

They spoke about so many issues which are still relevant today. In 2018. Especially race. Today on #mlkjrday I hope that we can honor these great men by continuing to chasing the same dream of equality for all. We as a nation have much work to do and I hope one day we can make that dream a true reality.

“We’ve got to be as clear-headed about human beings as possible, because we are still each other’s only hope.” ~James Baldwin #unity #wehaveworktodo #itstime #raponrace #equalityforall #wakeup #neverstopdreaming #wewillgetthereoneday #weshallovercome #martinlutherkingjrday #jamesbaldwin #maragaretmead #musicandmovement
